Poetry Slam Decathlon @ KW|AG

Two slam poet teams compete in 10 events & riff off of visuals by Lynne Cohen and Jason de Haan .

Two teams of five professional spoken word artists each compete in a 10-round poetry slam decathlon judged by audience members’ cheers, featuring events like haiku death match, compliment rap battle and rhyme-off! Poets – featuring Dia Davina and KW Poetry Slam spark plug Janice Lee – will also present improvised pieces based on photos and images from KW|AG’s fabulous fall exhibitions .

Night\Shift explorers are encouraged to get rowdy and responsive, and maybe even share a few words at the open mic. The KW|AG’s Community Access Space will be selling liquid courage.
